The Travelex name and what it stands for instils a sense of confidence, recognition and respect. Whilst developing a new customer relationship, I am able to present with authority knowing that the Travelex brand and team of world leading experts are behind me.
I have been extremely fortunate to have incredible personal and professional opportunities during my career at Travelex. My wide scope of projects has also provided some unimaginable personal opportunities including meeting with Prime Ministers and travelling to numerous countries.
At Travelex, I have been given many responsibilities and developed my career based on my performance rather than just based on my length of service. I have been able to advance my career faster than expected, whilst providing more opportunities and challenges to develop myself. These opportunities have included overseeing retail stores across Greater China, leading the business development agenda for Asia and helping to establish operations in new markets.
I have also been incredibly fortunate that I have been given the opportunity to embark on a Travelex sponsored six week intensive Education Program run by three leading universities – Harvard, Tsinghua and CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about new management techniques, strategic thinking, innovation and operational excellence from world-leading business leaders and fellow classmates from over 20 countries. I am looking forward to the opportunity to challenge my own ‘ways of working’ whilst learning new skills to further advance my career at Travelex.
